Robots are machines that exist to perform specific functions or tasks in the physical world. To achieve this, a control software is required on the robot that drives its actuators, perceives the environment with its sensors and makes decisions and executes actions. The Fawkes robot software framework provides an integrated software package to develop such systems.

The AllemaniACs are looking for a new main sponsor to help us finance our robotics endeavour. We have a lot to offer to a potential sponsor so if you are able and willing to support the team read on.

The RoboCup@Home community talked about possibilities to exchange knowledge within the Robocup@Home league at RoboCup 2007 in Atlanta. The general idea is that each team might have knowledge that could also be relevant and helpful to other teams. We agreed that a wiki would most probably be the best way to do that and we, the AllemaniACs, offered to set up such a system. The wiki is set up and open for use now. As part of our continous development we demonstrate newly accomplished abilities of our domestic service robot platform every once in a while. One of those occasions was the "4th International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Applications" held in the Tivoli Business Center in Aachen.
